Coronavirus Update - 21/01/2021
As we celebrated a new year as best we could, we were full of hope that things would start to get better. In reality, it seems to be just the opposite. Numbers are rising, more people are dying. January is a cold, dark month and you may be feeling that enough is enough. You may be thinking "How much longer?"
In the Bible, God says "Do not be afraid, I am with you."
You may be thinking, "That's all very well but where is God in my pain, in my suffering, in my loneliness, in my grief, in my financial worries? Where is God in Covid-19?"
God says "I will protect you. I will never leave you or abandon you."
God loves each and every person and promises to be with us, whatever we are going through, and His promises never fail. If you want to know how God can help you through whatever is affecting you right now, if you want prayer or to speak to someone in confidence, please get in touch. We are here for you.

Dear God, Thank you for loving me and promising to be with me. I am suffering and I don't know how much more I can bear. Please hold me and comfort me, help me to make sense of all that is happening, and provide me with all I need. Amen
“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me, your rod and your staff comfort me." Psalm 23 v 4
"For I am the Lord your God, who takes hold of your right hand, and says to you, 'Do not fear, I will help you' ." Isaiah 41 v 13
"God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles...." 2 Corinthians 1 v 3,4
