Coronavirus Update - 17/12/2020
We came through the second lockdown and Tier 2 but now we are restricted by the limitations of Tier 3. While there is some easing to allow more families to celebrate Christmas together, we recognise that some people will remain isolated or on their own as the risks are still too great.
If you are facing time alone this year, remember that the true meaning of Christmas is about God's gift of love to us in the birth of Jesus, also known as Immanuel which means 'God with us'. We all love to have family and friends around for Christmas but the greater celebration is that God in Jesus came to be with each of us so that we are never alone. Whenever we feel lonely, we can be reminded of God's constant presence with us - not only at Christmas but at all times.
We rejoice that a vaccine is now available for some and this should be more widely available in the New Year but in the meantime Covid-19 and the restrictions will be around for some months to come. If you are struggling, we are here for you.
